Metallica will release a new... beer!?

Following the same path of Iron Maiden (kind of...) Metallica is about to launch a special beer but, unfortunately, only in Canada. They have teamed up with Budweiser to produce this limited edition run of beer to mark thrash giant's tour dates.

The black cans, featuring the band’s iconic logo, will be on sale from September 28 to mark their two appearances at Quebec City’s new Centre Videotron venue this month. More than 91,000 Metallica cans will be made, and sold in packs of 15 and 24.

Meanwhile, the band continues to work on their 10th studio album but with no release date in sight.
